Review on 🔑 Jameco Valuepro IG-406D-2341 Key Lock Switch - Round Terminal Key, All Keyed Alike by Jorge Bryant

I ordered this lock and key because I lost what I think is the only key to a vintage sports car. In a conversation with some car-loving friends, we came up with a simple solution: install a universal key switch somewhere out of sight and let it serve as a kind of security system. The wiring is fairly simple, so we've determined where to run the auxiliary wire to have this switch duplicate the ignition circuit. (Fortunately, this car is old enough that the starter is powered by a separate pull switch so I didn't have to worry about hooking up a high-load circuit or solenoid.) Part of my file system at home identified a spare key taped to a letter from the previous owner of mine Cars. We took it to the warehouse where the car is stored and voila, it fits. So. Again, having only the part needed to fix eliminates the need for fixing. Voodoo parts save the day!
