Review on OMOTON SmoothArmor 9H HD Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Apple iPhone 8 Plus/iPhone 7 Plus - 2 Pack: Premium Protection for Enhanced Clarity by Demetrius Patsion

I don't usually write product reviews, mainly because I don't have much time (and I want to be really thorough); However, I decided to leave a review because I was very satisfied with the product. The main reason I bought this product was because the oleophobic layer on my iPhone 7 Plus was completely worn off (for those of you who don't know what it is, it's a thin layer/coating on the screen that helps minimize fingerprint buildup/oil/water - basically it helps the screen stay nice and clear). Looking at the many different offers on Revain, I read a few different product reviews in order to make what I felt was the most informed decision to purchase a product (considering there were quite a few other products with similar features). design features). In the end, of course, I chose this product. I'm just going to talk about some of the concerns I had regarding this type of screen protector (including some of the issues others have mentioned) and how it relates to this product: 1) It has cutouts. for front camera, front speaker, front light sensor and home button. All cutouts were perfect, including the cutout for the front speaker. 2) I haven't seen any of the "rainbow effect" that some people are describing with this product. Due to the thin edges of the protective glass, this effect does not occur when the display is illuminated. 3) The package came with both protective glasses intact with no damage. This is because the kit comes in a strong, rigid container that cannot be bent. 4) The protective layer has an oleophobic layer which helped minimize fingerprints and natural sebum on the display. Drops of water form a pretty bead and roll off immediately without a trace. 5) The protector was easy to put on. In addition to the two protectors, a microfiber cloth is included, as well as two sets of screen prep wipes, small plastic cards (to get rid of those pesky air bubbles), dust remover and installation aid stickers. I found stickers and dust removers didn't do much for me. I simply wiped the screen down with the supplied damp cloth, used a microfiber cloth and some compressed air, and applied the screen protector. At first I messed everything up and it was a bit off (I'm a perfectionist); However, I was able to carefully remove the protective film (this was before I used the card to press down properly) and readjust it to line it up properly. 6) The edges of the tread fit perfectly! The plastic card helped me press hard so it fits really well. I have no air bubbles and no tread edge problems. 7) I use an Apple leather case for my phone and there is no problem with the protective film getting in the way. Due to the curved design of the iPhone display edges, the screen protector can only cover part of it; however, it closes the screen correctly. 8) I'm very careful with my electronics and have never had a broken screen on any iPhone I've had (hope I didn't jinx myself). However, let me say that this screen protector is not designed to protect the screen from cracking when the phone falls on a hard surface from a long distance (and hits it just right). It is designed to protect the front of the screen from blunt or sharp objects that could scratch or damage the screen. That's all for now. I hope people find this review helpful.
