The paint on the surface of these nuts does not adhere very well to the surface of the nut. When installed with a standard outlet and a breaker (not an impact wrench) the paint was already showing signs of chipping on several of the nuts. I took a few of them off to see what the paint was like on the nut's tension side and noticed that the paint was peeling off almost completely revealing a smooth chrome finish. These nuts are great value and look very strong compared to my factory nuts which were cheaply made with aluminum caps. But I had to give them 4 stars as I'm not sure how long the color will last.
