I really liked this magnetic doorstop when I bought three of these and installed them on heavy exterior doors that required drilling through the brickwork to install. They have a good strong magnet. However, when I bought a few more for interior doors, I found some mounting issues. The shorter, drywall-designed mounting screw is just long enough to reach the threads of the long section of the doorstop when attaching to the mounting plate! Also, this screw has a hex head, not a flat head, so the mounting plate won't touch the wall. When the hex head is pushed into the drywall, the screw no longer reaches the threads. Ideally they should have a slightly longer pan head screw so the mounting plate fits snugly against the wall. I chose not to return them because they have a stronger magnet than the cheaper doorstops which I felt were necessary for narrower doors. I'm giving this rating two stars to hopefully alert manufacturers to address this issue and improve assembly instructions.
