Updated: the support team reached out and we checked my wifi router. They confirmed my network does support their app/appliance and sent me a new unit to try. I got it setup and followed the instructions, and it didn’t connect on the fist try but after another attempt or two it did finally connect to my wifi! I used the app to cook my lunch as a test and it worked well! I will say that it does seem to have trouble staying online, and I kept having to reconnect the device, but that could also be my wifi. Overall the support team was super supportive and helpful and I greatly appreciate them. Good experience overall.I saw this on sale for $99 with good reviews and bought it for the fact that you can control it with the app, say while working. Spoiler: you can’t actually connect your app to the stupid thing (apparently it’s not compatible with iPhones but they failed to mention that). Take the other reviews about this seriously. I also see now the price has dropped to $79, which sucks I paid more to find out this whole piece of junk is just a very chemically smelling regular air fryer dressed up like a fancy multi tool.
