FIRST . DOES NOT HOLD A VACUUM! ! ! ? ? ? Not at all. WHAT IS THERE MAKES IT useless of its own accord. Not to mention Amazon said it will fit your 1998 VW Beetle. ? Wrong again. When I took mine out and compared them, they were NOT the same. When I enter the PART NUMBER ON AMAZON, do they show the correct number and say "THIS WILL NOT FIT YOUR MACHINE"? ? ? WHAT I TAKE WAS ORIGINAL. AND CUSTOMIZE THIS 1998 VW BEETLE. AND YOU MUST HOLD THE VACUUM CHECK, A PIECE OF PLASTIC CHARACTER.
