Works great with OBD-II

One reason to buy an OBD-II reader is to read, diagnose and reset the check engine light on modern cars. I have a few cars that require emissions testing but often they rarely have mileage as they were weekend cars before Covid. Now that Covid has arrived, cars don't drive at all. When batteries die, there are often other engine code problems that can cause the car to skip the first few starts. As a result, I had to drive several miles at a time to "reset" the light. With this OBD-II reader, it's just a plug, read the code and then reset. Immediately afterwards, he can easily pass the emissions test. One of the big pluses of modern OBD-II readers is that not only can you see the code, you can see the reason for the code. There is a built in library that will tell you what the problem might be. This reader also has a very unique feature that allows you to run a sort of performance test. The reader also comes with a car mount/magnetic vent clip so you can view performance tests on the go. Another benefit is that it can connect to your computer via USB-C (software download required, I haven't tried it) and can also connect to your mobile devices via Bluetooth. This OBD-II reader really has many functions. Overall this is a pretty cool toy to use in my cars. I hope I don't get any fatal error codes!
