The houseboat was bought in 2019 and the renovation started in 2020. We have replaced the old toilet with the exact replacement that this toilet is. Last year while using a houseboat we noticed the smell of chemicals coming from the waste water tank. We added deluxe vinyl slats that raised the toilet a bit, but the one toilet floor washer that came with it was too short to create a proper seal on the toilet flange. So I took the gasket off the old block and folded it in half. Voila! The smells have completely disappeared and got a good seal. It was a great replacement.
