As advertised; Nothing fancy but they do the job and are a very good length. A word of warning - the problem is not with the product itself, but if you are looking for a needle to use with the Zoom Loom shaft be aware that they will NOT work as they are too big to go through metal . herring. However, they work well on my Martha Stewart loom and work well on a hand loom if the pins are spaced far enough apart. I like them a lot more than the plastic weaving hook that comes with the M Stewart loom as you only have to weave the weft once (pull the yarn behind the needle), instead of threading the hook, grabbing the yarn and pulling it back; The crochet hook also has its place since it's so long, but it makes a great addition to basic looms. My 6 year old daughter also uses these on her little toy loom as it only comes with a short plastic needle which is much more difficult to use.
