Won't format card!: Computers & Accessories

First tried in dashcam and about a week later I was told to reformat the SD card which took over 45 minutes and still doesn't work Changing the Maps, and immediately after that the DVR began to work normally. Then I tried using it with my GoPro and same thing. Reformat and it won't complete, left it for more than 60 minutes with no success. Maybe mine is broken, or maybe it just looks bad.
