These cables are of very, very high quality (or so they appear). A 12AWG wire is essential when you draw a lot of power and need long-lasting wires. These cables are likely to be stepped on, driven over and otherwise abused while delivering approximately 3500 watts of power to our subwoofers. Note: I'm a big fan of Monoprice. I don't get anything from them for free, but I buy all kinds of things from them when I can. They consistently offer high quality at low prices. You can't go wrong with Monoprice.
