This heater worked great for the first winter that we owned it. Unfortunately, after bringing it out for use at the start of a second winter, it heated for about 15 seconds before the heating element broke and no more heat came out. After exchanging a few emails with Trustech who seemed to think the problem was a stuck tip-over detection switch -- the unit still beeped when tipped over, so this was clearly not the problem -- we sent in a photo of the broken heating element. That was nearly two weeks ago, and the email has gone unanswered, even after I sent two follow-up emails. They're happy to help troubleshoot, but they don't seem to be very keen on replacing the product. If you're looking for an outdoor heater, this one works great until it breaks, but from my experience, don't expect Trustech to honor your warranty. We're very disappointed and will be looking for other options to replace our broken heater.
