Compared to my favorite Red Sea drip tester, this sucks. The suction cup is removed at least twice a month. I just come home and find this thing floating in the tank and all the indicator solution drained into the tank. Nothing I want to do again and again! In addition, this indicator reacts much more slowly to changes in CO2 in a parallel test over several hours. I think it has to do with the size of the hole (it's a very small slit and the Red Sea is a big hole). It restricts airflow, which is what makes these things work. All in all if you can find a better sucker it's fine for drop testing and infinitely better than Fluval junk which I wrote another review about but I'd still love to find more Red Sea. .today they are harder to find than snowmen in the desert.
