I am very disappointed in this hat. First things first, when I took it out of the box I had to sand all the paint off of it and then paint it with high temp paint to keep it from rusting. The instructions on the box said the paint on the manifold was only needed to prevent it from rusting in stock. The next thing I noticed right away was that the header mounting hardware didn't fit my head and the nuts or bolts didn't match for any purpose. Except for the flange that connects the part of the exhaust pipe (included) that connects to the manifold and consists of a connector for the O2 sensor and a flange for the catalyst. There is no gasket on the manifold that seals it to the exhaust ports on the engine head, and the gaskets that connect the manifold to the exhaust pipe and EGR are made of paper. Paper pads burn through to a leak and give around the entire perimeter. I mean come on guys. Everything I have given in my opinion is enough not to buy it, but it only gets worse. The header doesn't fit between my drivetrain and frame, and the way it flexes to move toward the rear of the truck doesn't really touch the ground on the driver's side. I have a 1988 Toyota Truck 4X4, it's just a small racket that I bought when it's raining heavily or it's too cold to ride the bike. I enjoy playing around with this truck and what not. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a header for something with a small four cylinder engine and need some other stuff. I was sure the pacesetter would have worked out the design by now given the age of the truck and the number of trucks on the road. I guess that's what I get when I think about it. Now I went to LCE Engineering and ordered a manifold. They (LCE Engineering) only specialize in Toyota Performance parts and you can trust it to work when they say it works.
