No, unless you have a lot of time

Tests take a LONG time and mine wasn't accurate at all. This is quite expensive for a do-it-yourselfer and too time consuming for a pool maintenance professional. You also have to buy some tests, although they come with test strips, which seems odd. You think if you have streaks you can take the test. I'm lucky that mine just stopped working and I was able to get my money back.
