Overall the sound of the product is excellent. It's not unbearably loud or obnoxious with its tone. As a fair warning, if you have an aftermarket "piston valve" like Go Fast Bits' DV+, you will need to purchase longer set screws. You will need M6 x 50mm bolts or more for a few bucks more. Also the install was pretty easy for me as last year I relocated the diverter valve right next to the throttle body which takes 5 minutes to swap out the valve spacers but I can probably imagine an install with the car on jacks and access to the valve itself is one easy 60-90 minute task, every time you want to attach/detach the seal.
