Awesome motherboard

After researching three major motherboard brands (Asus, MSI, Gigabyte), I settled on the Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro WiFi board for my Intel i7 -8700K. I was looking for specific features including a Wi-Fi board with the latest M.2 NVMe technology, not too much light. So far I am very happy with this board as I wanted to use a Samsung 970 EVO 500Gb M.2 NVMe SSD. And while the flash drive works without problems with the installed Windows 10. The board immediately recognized the flash drive without any settings in the BIOS. Just make sure you only have this SSD installed when you install Windows 10 for the first time if you want the OS to be on this SSD (otherwise you might run into problems). I currently have 4 sticks of 3200 RAM CORSAIR Vengeance RGB 8GB DDR4 3200MHz C16 installed lengthwise on the board with an EVGA 1070Ti FTW2 GPU - the board booted up on first power up, went straight to the BIOS screen and immediately recognized my Corsair fans . AIO cooler, M.2 Samsung Drive and EVGA GPU card without BIOS settings. Many people say that the BIOS interface is not the best; But since I'm a first-time PC builder, the BIOS has an EASY mode for newbies like me to navigate. However, the board defaults to 2133MHz for any RAM above 2133; You must return to the BIOS. Simple mode. Enable XMP. Then restart your computer so that it changes automatically. You can also get Gigabyte's 3-year warranty when you register your motherboard.

Pros
  • Supports 9th and 8th Intel Core processors
Cons
  • Great price
