Excellent welding hood for occasional welding.
The Viking Passive Welding Helmet is a great helmet/hood for intermittent welding and perhaps as a safety net for professionals. Great comfort and field of view, and nodding your head hands-free works great. Shade 11 is excellent for MIG or MMA welding. The headband is adjustable, as is the tension. I use this range hood regularly at the hobby shop and will buy again. While much more expensive photochromic helmets remain in vogue, purists may recall that many bridges, skyscrapers, race cars, and airplanes were built by welders wearing passive helmets like these.
