Prior to this product, the Strathmore 300 9x12 Sketchbook, I used the Strathmore 400 9x12 Sketchbook with ivory paper. You might think ivory paper is beautiful, but it distorts even the most basic colors, and I print and paint a lot. This paper is white, not ivory. That's a big plus for me. It's also 100 sheets, so that's a value. The downside is that the marker, pen, micrometer, watercolor paint and every tool I used went right through the paper and I could see it on the paper pretty clearly. return. This means you can only use one side. As I bought this for two purposes: (1) card making and (2) journaling I was disappointed as since it goes to the other side I can't use it. for logging. :(Really good for making postcards. I just need to make sure there is something underneath the sheet of paper because even with the lightest touch the marker will reach to the next sheet. I wish they were thicker like 400 but 400 as ivory in color that distorts everything.
