Review on ๐Ÿ“ฆ NavePoint 12U Wall Mount Server Cabinet Network Enclosure with Locks and Fan - Consumer Series by George Miller

Great 12U rack. รข Computer Accessories and Peripherals

This NavePoint stand is very well made, all the parts fit right in and is fairly easy to install. The items were very well packaged in a shipping carton to ensure they arrived undamaged. The outside of my box was torn due to mishandling by the carrier, but the contents remained intact thanks to NavePoints' logistics packaging. Assembly is very easy and took less than 30 minutes including unpacking, arranging the elements in the correct assembly order and using. Using the supplied Allen key, screw the studs into the appropriate slots and use a screwdriver to tighten the remaining screws on the rack rails. This stand does not come with screws for wall mounting so take that into account in your setup but probably due to the variety of walls it can be mounted to. This particular model does not come with a wall mounting rail, instead it has 4 16" center mounting holes that easily mount onto standard studs. If you don't have studs arranged this way, you can buy a 3/4 size sheet of plywood that can be screwed to the studs first and then attach this cabinet to the plywood accordingly. The nice thing is that the sidebars can be locked or not. (There is a rubber plug that can be removed to install the included locks). The downside is that there are 3 different keys for each lock, 2 for the sides and one for the front, which is redundant and can be a hassle. Again, this model comes with only one fan, but there is a removable bezel for the second. fan, if required, and must be connected with the supplied power cord. I bought this based on the weight rating as it's rated at 110lbs but offers an upgrade once everything is set up if it lasts. So far very happy with this product and setup, great job Navepoint!
