Tips for installing software and no mod stuck plug. Better go to the dealer.

Installing the software is not easy. The CD has two installation folders for v 13 and v 15 and no instructions other than a video which is what I believe to be a Chinese version of Windows 7 making it impossible to follow what is going on and the many steps involved they have undertaken appeared to be optional. I used an old laptop with Windows 7 32 bit. There are two installations for version 15 (.26 and .28). I tried the .28 version first and then installed the driver for the cable. To connect to the car, you need to copy the appropriate patch file to the desktop (32-bit or 64-bit) and double-click on it after connecting the cable and turning the ignition key to the ON position. This will automatically open the software. If you don't use a patch file it won't work. Connected to the device normally, but the Utility and Customize menus were not available. They are required to make changes to custom features and software keys, TPMS sensor fob and registration, etc. I uninstalled the .28 version and installed the .26 version. This time everything worked as advertised and all features worked. Mandatory TPMS sensors without problems. I suspect that running the .28 installer again might update the installed version and keep features, but it's not worth the time to me. Installation probably took about half an hour, but that may be a feature of my old laptop (it's over 13 years old). The connector has not come loose from the OBDII connector. You made it too tight and it grabs the plastic tab that aligns the connector when you tighten it. It took a lot of effort to separate and it broke the small alignment tab on my car's OBDII port. Recommend cutting off the plastic at the end of the cable connector or modifying it with a heat gun, like some other buyers who left feedback. You don't want it getting stuck there, and the knee airbag makes it very difficult to get tools in there to try and pry it off.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
