Review on Cordiant Snow Cross 195/65 R15 91T winter by Kiril Mihailov ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

There are deviations, generally tolerable.

I bought tires along with disks for a new Grant at the end of 2022. In the city, the tires behaved adequately - no difficulties, everything was predictable, standard. At the same time, the rubber also did not demonstrate any super-qualities, although it may be due to an unsuccessful batch or a low load index - a very interesting combination: the rubber is both hard and rolling. Yes, 82T is probably the cause. But, again, this is Grant! Kama-Euro 217 for the summer comes from the salon with the same index 82 and I have no questions about it. However, the hope for the Cordiant company remained - I'm waiting for Snow Cross 2. Still, the summer Sport was good at one time. I will not put the same set for the new season.

Pros
  • - There were no obvious problems with braking, skidding and acceleration in a variety of urban conditions and on the highway in a wide temperature range. - For 2.5 seasons, there were no cuts or hernias. - High wear resistance - I think rubber should be enough for 50-60 thousand mileage.
Cons
  • - There is some vibration at 100-120 km/h. I sinned on the disks, but they are perfectly even - the problem did not go away even after they were "rolled". I came to the conclusion that this is due to the low load index - it was 82 for the size 175/65/14. Yes, he's low and I'm to blame. But! The car is a Grant, whose weight is hardly more than 1.5 tons with a full load, and vibration was observed even when I was alone in the cabin (by the way, the manufacturer claims a load of 425 kg per wheel). In addition, the wheels constantly seem to be lowered. - Thorns boldly leave their father's house. Moreover, they do it unevenly even on the same axis: after the first season, 50-60% remained, after 2.5 seasons - 15-50%. - From the second season, the wheels began to be lowered ON THE SPIKES - for me this is an indicator of the brand. I immediately put it on cameras, because the same nonsense happened to Amtel at one time. But the studded Matador departed for 3 seasons, having lost 10-15% of the studs and never "pleased" with such a problem.
