Technically the cog is installed and runs with no slip, but during my first 20 mile ride there was a very loud thud every time the pedal was pressed. This was combined with a new chain/sprocket so it's just a poor quality stock design. I would suggest investing more in race ready Shimano, White Industries, Origin8, Box or Token shifters that have no bearing play and crunch under load. You won't hear it on video until you've ridden the first few miles, used legitimate watts and veered off the track.
