These filters are a perfect match for my Shark NV680 vacuum cleaner. There doesn't seem to be any difference between them and the originals that came with my vacuum and they work just as well. The pre-motor filters of the My Shark vacuum cleaner are filled with fine dust. I clean my vacuum cleaner filters more often than the manufacturer recommends to prevent as much fine dust as possible from getting into the motor and eventually damaging the vacuum cleaner. Part of the cleaning process is rinsing the filters with water (I also use a drop of dish soap) to remove stubborn dirt from the filter media. Filters must dry before being reinserted under vacuum. I'm installing my second set of filters so I can continue to use the vacuum as needed while my other set dries.
