As soon as you want to tighten the Allen screw, the Allen key supplied begins to turn. force to tighten the screw. With a little force it tends to round up inside and you can't tighten it any further. round off - maybe a stainless steel coating or something? I have other #4-40 socket head cap screws (different company/brand) and can easily tighten them with the same hex wrench. something is wrong with these screws. So far 3 out of 10 (that I've tried) have this issue. I have no doubt that the remaining 7 will have the same problem. :( I need them to be stainless steel as these screws can come into contact a lot with the sweat/moisture of the hands. That's why I couldn't use the other screws I have as they are black oxide versions. :( So If you want those screws to hold something in place, look elsewhere.
