Review on Flash Furniture HERCULES Intensive Executive Furniture by Renee Vinith

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Sturdy but not heavy

I bought this chair specifically because of the reviews and the 500lb weight limit (I'm just over 400lb and I'm 6ft tall). It fits my height well but because it's so tall I would like the chair to be a little wider, the arms squeeze me a little but it's not that bad, the chair is quite wide and I can't see you that it was a problem when you were 300-350 pounds. The whole chair is aluminum and a steel frame which is really nice, the only plastic are the wheels and the chair caps. The base of the chair is a disaster. It's a rounded aluminum base, but you can tell all the welds are terrible. Looks like they were made by someone who has never welded before and I don't think the base will hold up at all and lots of reviews. Point out that this is a failure point. So expect to have to replace the chair base at some point, even if it's made entirely of metal. In addition, the bottom edge of the base is SHARP and can easily cut a finger or foot if caught there. The chair is massive but not very comfortable. You can tell the padding is super cheap foam that only "puffs" when you sit down and push all the air out, so it's basically like sitting on steel. As for the durability of this chair, only time will tell if it will hold up. I will update this review in the future if it falls apart
