I have a very messy kitten! She scatters everywhere. I had to sweep the floor every time she walked in, I could hear the sheets rustling on the floor. So I went in search of a rug that would do exactly what this one does. And it's a great price! It works great, most of the dirt stays in or on the mat, when I change the box I throw the mat away. The only small drawback, the underside is slippery. So she figured it would be great for kitchen browsing. >.<Have you ever seen a kitten rolling on a carpet? It's very cute, but rather defeats the purpose! So I put this cast iron horse on him. Now it stays where it's needed! She loves him very much, lies on him, plays with him. an overall victory at half the price of a majority. Does exactly what it's supposed to and does it well. Very happy with the purchase.
