Two main challenges: 1. Planting it in a tree was a challenge. The description says it has a clip to attach it, but it doesn't. Instead, there are green zip ties that don't really match the color of the Christmas tree. Also, how can you tie such a multidimensional solid piece of plastic to the top of the tree? It doesn't work that well.2. It wasn't easy to pick up either. You have to be very careful not to break each thorn as you gently push each piece into place. That is hard. Also note that this is a bright white light. So if your Christmas tree has a soft light, there will be conflict. I wouldn't recommend it as a Christmas tree topper.
