Legitimate family entertainment. Wonderful.

As a parent of 4 children, 3 girls aged 9, 11 and 17 and a boy aged 14, it is almost impossible to find something that everyone likes, let alone my wife and me. They're either too young, or they think they're too old, or they decide it's pointless. And CrowPi literally had something that interested everyone. My middle daughter and son are both interested in making robots, my eldest is more interested in general use and play along with my youngest who is good at storytelling and would like to make games herself one day. To be honest I expected them to get basic knowledge. That would be a challenge but we've been using it as a family for about a week, learning the lessons and learning the basics and even that keeps them interested because they're as well thought out and intuitive as how they're built into each other because they can see how everything is connected and where it leads. But apart from being a tool that offers activities for the whole family, which is very important to me as time flies and the eldest is already looking at college, it teaches useful skills that I have at this age in a manageable way consider essential. . I took it for granted that by being immersed in technology at the level they are at, children will learn certain technological fundamentals that are becoming increasingly necessary to function every day. Unfortunately, since the emphasis is on "simple", they have no idea how something actually works. CrowPi teaches them this in a way that makes it manageable and they can easily see that it's just a lot of simple steps after all. And unlike many other Pi starter kits, which consist of a Pi, a handful of sensors, and a PDF that came in an intimidating box of wires and circuit boards. CrowPi is a standalone platform that looks like a neat laptop so there isn't that overwhelmed feeling you get every time you try to learn electronics so kids don't feel lost when they start using it that way how they did it. when I've played with Pi projects in the past. overwhelming and made it friendly and approachable. And then we put it all into one sleek package and added a class schedule that really works for the whole family.
