FYI, a few issues

I don't like writing bad reviews, but this might help some others: Pros: It's very solid and looks pretty good. Basically these are small camps. Apparently it was mostly easy to assemble. I bought it for myself but before I could get it out two women took over as soon as the box was empty. Suddenly I'm an assembly assistant. You have done a good job. Cons: 1. The assembly instructions are mostly clear and easy to understand, but there is one omission. The upper front support, which has grooves for sliding doors, can be mounted 180 degrees backwards (front to back). If it is backwards, sliding doors cannot be installed. This is not described in the instructions. We were very annoyed that the doors could not be assembled. The two grooves should be on the front of the console. We partially disassembled the console to fix it and it worked. Hooray for us.2. The biggest problems arise from the depth of the turntable and the height of the compartment. I have three turntables: a 1980's Onkyo 1116, a 1974 Kenwood KD1033, and a modern Audio-Technica AT-LP3. None of these correspond to the depth (front to back) of the player bay: A. The AT-LP3's controls are on the front and cannot be reached as they are located under the crossbar. The reason for this is, Make sure the power plug is a few inches from the center hole on the back for wiring. To use it I have to drill another hole in the back. I probably will, since I bought him a console. governing bodies, will probably still be under the bar. B. Kenwood 1974 is larger than the others. Trying to insert it, I dislodged the arm and hit the same crossbar. Now it spins easily and breaks alignment. I take some of the blame for not expecting this and attribute the rest to the console's design. Try to find a tonearm for a 1974 turntable. C. Onkyo controls are located at the top front but still under the crossbar. D. None of the player covers in the bay are working. E The top two boards do not match. I leave it. I can compensate for some problems and ignore others until I solve something. messes up the alignment. I take some of the blame for not expecting this and attribute the rest to the console's design.
