I bought this collar twice for my 8 lb chihuahua mix and she managed to lose both. I put the first one on her and the next day the collar was gone (I don't know where, I climbed the whole yard and up her bed). The collar is thick and turned out to be of good quality so I ordered again and tried again. I put it on her on a Friday night just before I left town. The family came to release her and we returned again without the collar on Sunday afternoon. I walked all around the yard but couldn't find it. I know that when we put it on, we made sure it was the right size for her neck. Thus, either the adjustment clasp will slip, causing the girth to increase, or the clasp will not close securely. Still, I don't spend my money on anything else.
