This camera works as described. I installed it with no drama. You can watch a YouTube video to learn how to remove the old one, as some Fords now have a special removal method that requires a tool, but there are videos showing how to do it with an allen wrench. Wiring and instructions are clear. I bought an Autovox camera, all connections wired and wired with no drama. I recommend you to buy a fuse tap to power the device. The camera works well, as does the auto dimming/electrochromatic feature. It's quick to respond, and the green light that's on isn't too bright or obnoxious. The camera itself also includes lines for the car. If the camera you buy doesn't have one, you still have red, yellow, and green lines so you know where your zones are. The kit that comes with the camera includes all the cables, housing and everything needed to make the camera look like it was factory installed. Just take your time and it looks amazing. I'm thinking about buying one for my other car as the auto dimming feature is really good. I have a small complaint and it's the font used when the camera is lit. Since this camera has two inputs, one for the rear camera and one for the second input, there is a green font in the top right corner of the camera part that says "camera" using a font that drives me nuts. I would suggest either removing the text entirely or changing it to something like the Arial font or something more modern. The font currently in use looks like something from 1983.
