So I got these results to complete some testing of solar lights that were not working well in my garden. When I first connected the wires to see if the solar cell was producing voltage or enough to charge the batteries, I was surprised that they were low. However, I was sure they generated some activity in bright sunlight, so I started checking the wires for continuity. To my surprise, only three wires were electrically connected to the alligator clips, even though the wires were crimped firmly into the terminals. It was immediately apparent that there was not a drop of solder on any of the clips. Apparently none of this output has undergone a simple integrity check before sending. I don't think that's surprising given the price. If you're not willing to disassemble and solder the wires, you run the risk of throwing those cables away. I fixed them all but I think you're better off buying from a more reliable supplier. I will say that they came straight from China sooner than expected. So if you don't like taking them apart and remaking them, I'd say no.
