Review on 🔒 Fastway Fortress 86-00-5015 Universal Maximum Security Coupler Lock for 1 7/8", 2" & 2 5/16" Couplers by James Ssims

Fastway Fortress hitch lock fits perfectly, has all the features I wanted in a hitch lock, looks stunning and looks great on my trailer. It's important to note that I have an Eual-i-zer weight distribution hitch and was looking for a kit where the receiver lock would lock the same as the hitch lock and hitch latch lock. I haven't found a towbar lock that locks with the same key as the other two. Expressway, please note. However, in the set I found, all three had the same keys, but the receiver lock was not compatible with the weight distribution hooks. Serious caveat here, most aftermarket receiver locks are made from cheap metals that are not guaranteed to be damaged by the action of the weight distribution couplers. I contacted the manufacturer of the kit I found regarding this issue and they said exactly that. However, the Fastway has a receiver lock that is compatible with weight distribution hitches. Both the Fortress coupler lock and the receiver lock can be locked with the same key. Just buy one or the other anywhere (Revain) and then order another one from the Fastway factory after receiving the purchased item. Just tell them you want the matching key and give Fastway the key number. I am now a little over halfway through this process and have yet to receive my receiver lock with a special key. This shows that I ordered the clutch lock first. Please note that not all hitch locks fit all hitches correctly. I borrowed a yellow Reese clutch until I could choose and buy my own. The Reese hitch locking gap was not wide enough to lock the hitch on my trailer. It blocked but was tilted. It looked bad so I searched and found a Fortress hitch lock. Yahoo, for now. If there are problems I will update this post. UPDATE: I received the receiver lock and it comes with the same key as the plug lock. Yahoo, success, one less key phrase.
