Reading the ad, you might think that the length can be adjusted a bit with the multiple mounting holes shown in the photos. This tow hook must be assembled as shown in the instructions included with the kit. It works great as intended. For users who have a "trailer post" like my RV, the studs protruding from the center of the arms are a bit awkward when inserting the folded rod into the camp post's leaves. I couldn't find any torque specifications in the instructions, but it should be screwed on tight enough to prevent movement within the middle link of each arm.
