Review on 📱 Glide Gear TMP 50: A Versatile 10" Smartphone Mini Tripod Teleprompter for Enhanced Video Production by Michael Nard

I got this for making youtube videos. I'm recording on a smartphone and using my old obsolete smartphone as a teleprompter source. This teleprompter is perfect for that. Pros: 1. The rail behind the glass is T-shaped, which is ideal for cellphone recording as the cellphone cameras are located in the corner of the device. So, the T-rail allows you to mount your phone on one side or the other, allowing you to place your camera in the middle of the glass.2. The build quality is solid. Much better than the Parrot teleprompter I bought on Kickstarter. At $100, this teleprompter is a lot cheaper. (The parrot is also $100)3. You can use this teleprompter both with a regular camera for filming and with a mobile phone. What may not be ideal is the length of the T-rail behind the glass. If you use a very long lens, it may not fit on the rail.4. The included black fabric is nice and stiff so it doesn't drape or get caught in the frame. I like the tote bag. This isn't a very premium case that will stand up to a lot of road driving, but it's good enough for traveling light or stashing a teleprompter.6. I like that it's foldable. I don't have a lot of space in my house so I appreciate being able to pack this when I'm not using it. The Bad: 1. The included phone holder is very hard and I have a hard time getting my phone in and out. I use a cell phone tripod from another company and it works much better. The glass is just a hair thinner than we'd like. I use my phone camera in selfie mode to make sure I'm in the picture. I use a Google Pixel (NOT the XL version) and when my camera is in the center of the glass (which it should be, otherwise there are teleprompter corners in the frame) my phone sticks out of the side of the teleprompter. I can't see about half an inch of my screen either, so it's hard to tell if I'm in the center of the frame or not. Overall, I would recommend this teleprompter to any YouTuber who wants to improve the quality of their videos. It's not perfect - if I wanted something better I could try the TMP 100 - but since it's half the price of the TMP 100 I'll live with a few flaws.
