I bought one of these at my local grocery store and loved it. It's made of aluminum and keeps the water cold all day long. I like that it doesn't have small parts that are difficult to clean and prone to mold. I bought three more. My 7 year old daughter is very cautious (compulsive at times). The first two bottles had metal springs and a combination metal/plastic cap. The plastic latch broke at the junction of the metal and plastic. It was in the first few months. The two new ones all have plastic fasteners. I thought/hoped that the latches wouldn't be a problem since the metal spring wouldn't push against the plastic latch. I was wrong. The plastic clasp broke in the same place. Now I have four water bottles with no working caps.
