Review on BV 10 Porfessional Photography Hydraulic Detachable by Athenasby Whitney

My use case is amateur wildlife photography so I'm always balancing improving my photographic skills with adding weight to the package. This head on my Leofoto tripod gives me - for 4.5 pounds - half ball orientation, stable video and panning, stitch panoramas, astrophotography and a stable long telephoto lens. The head is slightly lighter than the Manfrotto 500AH and has an ARCA clamp. I should mention that I've only used it with 2-3.5 lb cameras. One reviewer noted that horizontal panning was too narrow for fast panning. I actually think this is a feature and not a bug. If I ever have an application where weight is not an issue, I will immediately order a heavier tripod and variable reluctance video head.
