I have a front exhaust system on an Aventage a1060. I set it to automatic and it does its thing and I never hear it. In fact, when the TV/music is muted I have to put my hand on the fan to feel it working because it's very quiet (at the lowest speed, I'm 28 years old, I have a good one hearing). . At 50% I can hear it with no sound, but when the TV/music is on at listening volume I can't hear the fan. At full volume it's noticeable at listening volume, but if I were having a house party with the music playing loud, you wouldn't hear it. I personally just keep it low, and after four hours of loud music (=more watts, meaning the amp is heating up) the amp was a cool 30°F. To put this in perspective, before buying a fan pack, an amp with a similar volume was hot to the touch within 4 hours at a temperature of 120°. That led to this purchase. Photos: Photos 1 and 2.
