So far, so good. 2 weeks.

I have a front exhaust system on an Aventage a1060. I set it to automatic and it does its thing and I never hear it. In fact, when the TV/music is muted I have to put my hand on the fan to feel it working because it's very quiet (at the lowest speed, I'm 28 years old, I have a good one hearing). . At 50% I can hear it with no sound, but when the TV/music is on at listening volume I can't hear the fan. At full volume it's noticeable at listening volume, but if I were having a house party with…

Yes - you can turn off the bright white fan speed indicator

To make that big, bright fan speed indicator invisible in any mode, all you have to do is hold down the mode button (left button on the front of the device) for 3 seconds and the light is now in "stealth mode" and won't show at all even if the device increases or decreases speed. Do the same thing again to make a light show if you like it. I run mine in smart mode at max speed 2 (half speed) and it's mounted on my Denon X3500 which is installed in my open entertainment furniture. But at the…

Good for processors, but larger amps may require higher CFM.

System works, well made and very quiet. However, I believe they should have options to move devices. Larger air volume, 250 CFM+ for rack/cabinet use for large amps for front outlet. In a 4x7 equipment closet, I have a 72U open skelton rack - no sides or backs. Cold air is drawn in from behind, and there is an exhaust system in front of the rack on the ceiling to pull warm air out of the room. I took this approach for the front exhaust because having all the wires on the back disrupts airflow…

The difference is between 125F and 85F!

I have been using this company's case fans for several years. In fact, you can see one of them and the controller in one of the pictures. They work fine but my receiver, a Marantz SR6011, was still very hot. It sits in the front open TV stand with a 3 inch clearance to the glass shelf above. There's also a 2-inch gap between the glass shelf and the back wall that allows for some upward airflow. But maybe that's not enough for the single fan to pop out at the top. I only recently found out about

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • New competitors have emerged

After researching various cooling systems for my Marantz receiver, which seemed to want to overheat at higher listening volumes, I purchased an AC Infinity fan to connect to my switchable integrated amplifier. The fan worked fine as a single, but once I turned off the amp and receiver there was a chance I would leave recording on while Zone 2 or 3 continued without my knowledge (Marantz owners will know what I'm doing). . say the white line in the porthole is the ONLY clue if the record is in…
