I was looking for student quality watercolor pencils as Reeves didn't seem to have them in stock at the time of writing this. I mean I have top brands like Derwent but I just wanted another kit to craft with. I saw the reviews and wanted to see what they really are. The tin was well packaged, not only with a piece of tape to keep it closed (thought the last set of pencils were broken due to the tin opening during shipping) but intact as well. carton too. I selected several pens, the color turned out quite decent. Not surprising, but I wasn't expecting that for the price (DEFINITELY not the level of Inktense pigment). I wouldn't normally look at art material without even looking at it, but it's getting a bit of a nightmare. Oh, the pins have numbers on them, but they don't mean anything. N001 - black, N002 - a shade of blue or purple, N003 - white - you know. I wonder what the point of the numbering is when the colors are nowhere near in any order. Yes, I actually deducted a star for that. That annoys me a lot. I'll edit this review if there are other positive (or negative) attributes of these pens that are relevant.
