My psychiatrist advised me to buy one of these as I live in a basement and not only am I very dark but I am am severely sleepy (Somewhat related to narcolepsy but I sleep for long hours (12-72+) without warning or pause or can mostly hear alarms and when I do I turn them all off in my sleep. Well I have that I don't expect any healing from "Lumi" in any way, honestly I didn't know if it would wake me up, especially on its own/without human assistance after its "sunrise", hoping for an easier awakening/alertness / better mood but my psyche recommended the northern lights company and i usually think you pay for what you get now she said the northern lights watch is worth it or equal ch would be bad then the WORST CONTROL PANEL EVER! Setting it up was a pain at first. But. Setting an alarm for the second day (it didn't work on the first day), this was now AFTER setting the clock and alarm times, rooster, bird or whatever - it took me 45 minutes to set the alarm to a different time . , 15 more to have a signal that it's "on" which is a light gray image of the sun next to the clock (barely visible and almost impossible to get to) - well, although it's wartime, not exciting THINKING I guess you don't want to blame it that your alarm clock rings at 8 p.m. in the evening - well, it still didn't work for me 3 times in the morning and I kept fumbling with it and trying to get it to work. I finished. I'll try another brand if there's something that's not so ridiculous in terms of handling. I don't want to spend 20 minutes reading the manual every night trying to "tune" it, especially when it's a crappy shoot. (Seriously, this doesn't work) Good idea and part of the solar model - - Will be ruined by everything else though. Spring. I actually only saw it at night and it looked like wtf but I was glad it was shining "bright". Good luck with the Christmas tree timer on the SAD lamp. So annoyed! Lumi I hope you do the right thing and send me a truly legal SAD lamp for my bedroom and I will set it up with a timer. ESPECIALLY given my time and frustration. Also 2 missed appointments because of the junk you're selling. for almost $200 - I feel so cheated.
