Review on Boxtech Submersible Aquarium Heater 100W by Kelly Starr

I was very cautious when purchasing this heater because it didn't have as many reviews as some of the other heaters on Amazon and because it was very good cheap. . However, it was also the only one with no feedback, the temperature control failing and people cooking the fish alive. I'm very glad I gave it a chance because it works great. I've had it for a couple of weeks now and I've been monitoring the tank temp very closely with a separate digital thermometer. The temperature remained completely stable during these two weeks, fluctuating only 0.1 degrees Fahrenheit. 98% of the time my tank is 77.4 F, and occasionally when my tank gets direct sun from my window, the temperature rises to 77.5 F. I couldn't be happier with how stable it was. Also, my fish often swim behind the heater, between the tank and the glass, and never seem to be bothered, and they have touched a few leaves of my plants now and then for several hours at a time and have never been damaged.
