I bought this product out of fear that sleeping under a heavy blanket would be uncomfortable. However, I tend to toss and turn in my sleep a lot and I tend to have poor sleep, a softer indication of the benefits of a blanket I've tried. much less sleep when using this blanket. The weight also (surprisingly) made me feel comfortable while sleeping. It's soft and plush and washes easily as both a bedspread and duvet. Cons: Not ideal for more than one person - the duvet is big enough to comfortably cover an adult and doesn't cover the gaps of a full bed or more. When folded, it may be too heavy and uncomfortable for certain body parts, especially when body parts are injured or weight-sensitive. The duvet is warm so not ideal in warm weather unless you are sleeping at full flight speed. Conclusion: the blanket effectively helps to make sleep more comfortable, its weight brings its own inconveniences, consider them before buying.
