Easy to install, I used tape and screws and it holds up very well on my work truck dashboard. Keeps my Droid MAXX (in Otter Box) safe even on bumpy roads; no buttons interfere. You simply place your phone in the holder and squeeze the two side ratchet clips together to clamp the phone between them. Sponges on the inside of the clips hold the phone in place. The only thing I would change about it is make the jaws a bit thicker, thin jaws don't have much "give" so you have to squeeze pretty hard to get the ratchet to its tightest position.
