I need a bigger charger. Many chargers only take four batteries. If you're anything like me, your batteries will drain a lot quicker. I bought it for my workshop/workshop. I have many tools that run on AA/AAA batteries and a few that require 9 volts. Some tools require up to 8 AA batteries. A weak little charger just wouldn't help me. Works perfectly. The easy to read display allows me to easily see the current status of each battery. It can identify a bad battery. I've been using rechargeable batteries for years, so from time to time I get batteries that are near the end of their lifespan. I also accidentally put in a non-rechargeable battery. It was quickly detected and automatically stopped charging that battery. Clean, simple lines - it's as big as it should be. It may sound strange, but I've seen chargers that are big, bulky, and take up way more space than they really need. This charger has almost all charging slots and a display. They used every space for a functional purpose so it doesn't take up more space than it needs in my crowded workshop. Does what it should and does it well.
