Make no mistake with this DIY and SAVE!

I learned how to replace them in my 3rd generation Chrysler minivan. Combined with poor Chrysler design, I've changed them about 6 times in 12 years of owning the car. I've used almost every brand and type, but they all seem to fail after about a year. Considering the cost and the amount of work involved, it's definitely worth doing it yourself. These bushings fit well, but maybe that's because I've done this so many times. They don't close completely at the seam, but I think that's how they're designed. They have something else, but time will tell. I used to use modified Mopar bushings with the same insert. They didn't seem to last any longer, so let's take a look. If you are reading this, consider yourself lucky that you know how to fix all that rattle your front suspension is causing. Most end up replacing more than they need, costing over $1000. I have over 140,000 miles on my family racket and it's still working. Any normal driver would have switched to a new car long ago. I have saved so much money and time over the last 12 years fixing this van it is amazing. The internet forums and the know-how to work with my own cars was a real godsend! Now it has quieter suspension again! My van is alive again!
