I had to buy and use a longer USB extension cable. Pros below: Fast connection, stable connection, good speed. At a distance of 10 m from the router and through 2 partitions - the speed is ~ 60% of the cable connection speed. The adapter works 1.5 years. There are no complaints about the hardware. Cons below: Important! For the V4 version adapter in Windows 10, use the drivers from TP-LINK from 09/28/12. Windows 10, after each system ate, EACH TIME installs its regular driver from the Microsoft supplier from 2022, overwriting the driver from TP-LINK! The network does not work normally with the driver from Microsoft: firstly, the signal level is lower, and secondly, the connection disappears after a few minutes of operation. For normal operation after ating Windows 10, you must: 1- remove the device in the task manager; 2- install the driver from TP-LINK, I used TL-WN821N_V4_Utility from the official site - when reinstalling it, select Repair. The manufacturer TP-LINK is minus for what they do not monitor the relevance of their driver versions.
