WOW . What a great DIGITAL scanner! Works like a champ in my big city. Allows me to hear all types of law enforcement, fire, ambulance, DPS, etc. activity. This scanner is NOT suitable for people unfamiliar with programming high-end scanners! It will drive you crazy very quickly. Personally, I use a computer with the "Freescan" downloadable software in conjunction with RadioReference.com to program my computer and it works great! After mastering the learning curve with these tools, I was able to program/transfer over 600 channels to the scanner with a USB cable in less than 2 minutes. This scanner has so many features and capabilities that it's a never-ending (and enjoyable) learning curve. Quite expensive but I really like my Uniden BCD325P2! READ BEFORE BUYING!
