I've been using this cast iron skillet for 2 weeks now. When I received the pan I washed and seasoned it and then started using it. Below is my detailed review. Pros: 1) Food tastes great when cooked in this pan. 2) Food doesn't burn or stick. 3) Size 3 quartz is ideal for lunch for 2-3 people. It's deep enough to cook curry recipes. I generally make Indian curry recipes and have no complaints about the depth or size 4) The overall construction is very strong and durable, you can be assured the quality is top notch 5) The lid fits perfectly and if you use the lid while Cooking captures the flavor of the food and makes the food smell amazing 6) Affordable and long lasting with proper care Cons: 1) A bit heavy, not your normal crockery weight 2) If you are generally a lazy person, you should give it a go Before ordering this item, you should give it some thought, because cleaning and maintaining the frying pan requires little effort. You can't put it in the dishwasher and you have to season it after each wash 3) There are some small rust spots on the lid of the pan I received, if you look closely at the pictures you can tell. For that I give 4 stars, apart from the fact that I like this dish.
